MacArthur for instance would disagree with most all of the points listed above his name. He has stated that clearly, and that is available in even a cursery search of his views on this matter on the internet. Just like other folks who are married to Calvin, this poster finds it favorable to his thesis to lump all dispensationalists with the extreme views of Scofield and other DTS leaders who shall go unnamed. Until the covenantalists are willing to look at the holes in their own system, they will continue to ramble on with their hands over their ears. As a former dispy, I know they won't like it, but then again it was resources like this that drew me away from dispy chaos and into a right understanding of covenant theology. How else could he have the temerity to preach his sermon, "Why Every Self-Respecting Calvinist Is a Pre-millennialist" at the Shepard Conference. He even said that "if Calvin were here he would join our movement" because of Israel has lasted this long and is now being re-established as a nation.
