I hope that most of what is in this video is not something that you didn’t already know about Oprah. I have for many years called her out as a true heretic and one of the most dangerous false teachers in America.
As a matter of disclaimer, I have not read the book at the end of this video or do I know its author. I simply posted this video because it was well done and short.

There is a war of words raging on Oprahs message boards. The Christian posters are trying valiently to save as many of the uncertain and lost as we can. The tone of the discussions often turn to hostility. We Christians are not wanted in their group hug. There are so few voices of Truth. I hope some of you with a better knowledge of all things Biblical can help me and others there. Thanks.
“God, the Artificer of the universe, is made manifest to us in Scripture, and that what we ought to think of him is set forth there, lest we seek some uncertain deity by decious paths…For by his word, God rendered faith unambiguous forever, a faith that should be superior to all opinion” (John Calvin, Inst. Vol. I Pg. 71).
It isn’t just Oprah’s board where these discussions are going on.
Dave Ramsey’s community board also has a very active thread about Oprah and the problems with this teaching. Some understand the issue, some don’t. It is tragic that so many just don’t know what they believe.
This just amazes me although, for the life of me I don’t know why. Why do we expect anything good to come from Hollywood? She, along with the whole handful are very sharp tools in the hand of the Deceiver, to those who don’t know Truth.
Right on Phira- No Kool-Aid for me either. Doesn’t go good with a Padron anyway. Besides bagging on Jesus, next thing these Oprah people will be doing is talking bad about America. I say nuke-em before they take over. Heard it on Fide-o.
I was surprised when this very topic came up at church the other night. I confess that I have paid little attention to Oprah. I knew, as you have stated, that she denied the faith long ago.
What shocked me about the conversation is that many in our church were just realizing this through her ‘class’ and some recent things on the show. What she is saying now is quite obvious, but it really is not different than what she has said for years. Now, it seems that all pretense has simply been cast off. We’ll see what comes of it.

Good post, Jason. Don’t drink the kool-aid, indeed!

May the Goddess Oprah forgive you for all of your blasphemy.
Is she a *heretic*? Don’t you have to claim the name of Christ to be one of those?
Heathen, more like. Same # of letters, begins with h…
