Ed Stetzer predicts that there will be more Mormons than Methodist in twenty years.
This is helpful news… for the 2030 Mitt Romney Presidential Campaign. Heard it here first.
May the gospel penetrate this increasing demographic in America and slow the aggressive growth of this cult.

The Mormon numbers may be skewed somewhat. When a person joins a Mormon church they are never removed from the rolls even if they move and become part of another congregation. So potentially a good percentage of Mormons could be on the rolls of 3 or 4 congregations.
Gee, sounds much like the SBC.
Scott, I used to be a membership clerk in mormonism, and they keep great records of members and their movement. What you DO find is that those on the lists are ofter either completely inactive or openly hostile. A huge percentage of those on the membership roles want to have nothing to do with the mormon church, but few of them took the trouble (as I did) of officially having their names removed.
It should also be said that these people (much like the Muslims) are encouraged to have lots of kids. I wonder what the birthrate for evangelicals is? I know in Hispanic communities, we breed like crazy!
