The woman said to Him, “I know that Messiah [MESSIAS] is coming (He who is called Christ ); when that One comes, He will declare all things to us.” Jesus said to her, “I who speak to you am He.”
I guess Hagee should couple this book offer with his new, special, bible that leaves verses like the ones above out!
I used to listen to John Hagee when I was much younger. At some point I realized he was headed down the wrong track and taking me with him. I hadn’t heard a word he has said in almost seven years, and now I am glad I haven’t.
A joke? No. It’s what you get when your root assumption (the radical disconnect between Israel and the church) trumps everything else. Dispensationalism driven right off the cliff.
He’s (IIRC) pastor of an independent, non-denominational congregation he founded . Is there anyone to take him to task?
Thanks for posting this, guys. When it had finished, I spent a minute utterly dumbfounded. The deep end is 1 John 2:22, and Hagee seems to be swimming in it with abandon.
I read Hagee’s response to the controversy and it contains as many wrong teachings as the one of his orignally cited. For example, in Hagee’s response he claims as fact that Jesus refused the role of Messiah when taking the Bible in totality, that is never taught in Scriptures.
You’re right. The scary thing is that many Christians will buy this and blindly follow his nonsensical teaching.
What a freak.
Good Grief! Thanks for the info.
This has got to be a joke!
Jesus never claimed to be the Messiah?
John 4:25-26…

I am wondering if he reads the same Bible I read.
This is really a shame.
Best post title ever.
A spade is a spade and that man is a heretic.
Enough said.

One cannot lose what one never had.
Is this real?
Wow! I always felt he was off a bit but that is heresy to the extreme.
Yep, He has lost his mind. He may be leading the next TBN share-A Thon if he keeps up the good work.
It’s real!
Preachers like Hagee are living P.T. Barnum’s addage: “There’s a sucker born every minute.”
However the consequences of the deceptions and heresies of Hagee and similar ilk is tragic to the nth degree.
More needs to be done to counter their heresies.
I heard Hagee preach an Easter sermon many years ago that was actually quite good. Sad and sobering to see how far down he has come.
Mike Corley’s Expositor blog has something in the nature of a statement from John Hagee or one of his minions.

Thanks for posting Hagee’s commercial.
I have written a response to Hagee’s book. You can check it out here: http://alwaysreformingtoscripture.blogspot.com/ sat, Nov 4th post
