Not that everybody in the blogosphere doesn’t already read everything this man puts into writing… and we should… but I wish to promote the reading of this series of posts by Phil Johnson. This series will be permanently posted in the “Dog-Eared” section of FIDE-O’s sidebar.
But I need a title? What shall we entitle this series? Has Phil provided one overall title? Maybe I will just entitle it “The Most Important Posts You Will Ever Read.”
I truly believe that this series is the most important subject that can be discussed today in the blogosphere. It is more important than anything about politics, calvinism, sports, church government, heretics, war, end times. If I had the responsibility to allow only one subject to be discussed on the internet, seriously, I would choose the subject upon which Phil wrote about in this series. May God bless you, Phil.

Thanks for the kind words. That series was edited out of some thoughts preserved in a sermon transcript. The title of my original sermon, which title I should have made reference to but never did, was “The Great Exchange.”
I did, however, point out early in the series that 2 Corinthians 5:21 describes an exchange. Some commenter surprised me by acting incredulous that anyone would see any hint of transactional language in the text. So I wish I had given the series that title, just for people I know are out there who seem not to have a clue.
