Tony, Roger and I are heading to Phillips Seafood this afternoon. We are going to have to drive in DC area traffic and will pressed for time. According to the Washington Times this place is “the champion” of in depth, vast seafood buffets, and it is world reknowned for its crabcakes and softshell crab. 75 items, crab 11 different ways, and shrimp 9 different ways, and fish and oysters, and scallops. Did I mention its all you can eat. Well anyway have fun wherever you are.
We made it to the resturant and back in time. They wouldn’t let me take pictures of the buffet lines so we did the best we could. Just to let you know there was one section that had 30 gallon barrels filled with blue crab, king crab, mussels, boiled shrimp, and crawfish.
This resturant was gigantic. It will seat 1200 indoors and we were told they do so every weekend.

What? Are you too full to live blog? Don’t have room for that lap top on your lap?
We’re waiting….
Will that food keep long enough to bring home? Or can I fly out…. like they say, ‘If you can’t bring the all-you-can-eat seafood to Wes, then bring Wes to the all-you-can-eat seafood’. Just some food for thought. Just a little pearl of wisdom, which are found in the oysters you’ll be eating. Okay I’m done.
Did you guys get to eat any blue crab or just those big ones that have no taste?
Nice to see those legs covered up this time….
Unfortunatley (for you), by the time we took the picture we were filling up our fourth bucket and you are only seeing the tap out bucket. I have a couple of pics I will post tonight.
