We spent today touring the monuments and museums in Washington DC. If you have ever been here then you know the awe that comes as you stand in places where so many major, significant, world changing events, have taken place. It was a whirlwind day trying to see everything and I posted a few pics for you to see. If you click the pics they will enlarge.
The conference begins tomorrow and I will post as often as I can to give you my personal insights to the event. If anyone cares.

I was in DC in May for the first time on business. It is a place where the firehose analogy really comes into play. I spent two days after work running around to see the sights and was on overload seeing so much!! If you get a chance, eat at the Old Ebbitt grill a block from the White House. The atmosphere is great, and the food is good (and inexpensive too…)
Enjoy the conference!
Those of the some of the whitest legs I’ve ever seen…
The last time I was in DC, I kid you not, gas lines broke in the NW quadrant one morning due to street renovations all over that part of the city. At any rate, gas lines started breaking and flames were shooting up from under the street. Needless to say, it looked like the Earth really was about to swallow up the city! Take that in whatever way you wish.
Is the city looking any better? I used to visit it fairly frequently, and the place was looking very run down. There’s a lot of corruption in their city govt you know, and it showed. The nation’s capital should be in better shape.
So, are you taking pictures @ Capitol Hill Baptist?
Will someone please explain to me what is up with middle-aged men and Hawaiian-style shirts?!?!?
Spoken with much love and a touch of “pokinatcha.”
It’s good to know that you were able to view some of the indiginous liberals of D.C.. The liberals of that region often camp on the sidewalk and, like liberals everywhere, spew vile anti-american nonsense just like the guy in your picture.
I was just there in June for the NRCC Fundraiser. Now I’ll have to put my pics on the web to compete with you.
I really enjoyed Washington.
Please do something about that Democrat pose…..
JRush
Haha that ‘middle-aged’ man is my dad. Also, there’s some GREAT pics in there, like something out of Time Magazine, I am excluding, of course, the one of Centerfold Scott. I like to call this one “The Bathing Baptist”
