God Changed His Mind, Again.

Recently we were given another fine example of what not to do, by Ronnie Floyd. I do not want this to be taken as speaking ill of or picking on Dr. Floyd. I want it to be a reminder of why the words “the Lord told me” should never ever leave our mouth unless we are quoting directly from scripture. Who said it is irrelevant, almost. In the past I was as guilty of making that statement as anyone and I am sure when Dr. Floyd said it he almost really believed it. It is apparent that one of two things happened. God changed his mind or God forgot to tell the voters who to vote for. Now since I know God is not schizophrenic I would recommend keeping those statements to ourselves. I am not concerned with it impugning the character of Dr. Floyd, but I am concerned with it impugning the character of God. It is a big job to speak for God which is why he did it Himself in the bible.
